Week #65 My Favorite Bible Verse Is...

This week...I want the "Bible Study" to be done by you. Nothing hard...just take a minute to tell us what your favorite verse is and provide a short sentence or two about why you chose that particular verse.

This can be your favorite verse of all time or maybe just a verse that has really impacted your life at a particular moment in your life. I'm just looking for something.

There is no particular format...type the verse out, just give the location and let us look it up...whatever works best for you. Also, feel free to provide more than one verse...

Enjoy :)

Jeremiah 33:3 - "Call unto me and I will answer thee and show thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not." Just by calling out to God He will hear us and work miracles for us....I have certainly found this to be true in my life...What a MIGHTY God we serve!!!!

I always love me some Proverbs and growing up Proverbs 3:3 was my favorite verse, however in my psuedo-adult life, I find that I run across new verses that mean something to me for a particular week/day/moment. Lately, I have been dwelling on Psalm 34:14... mainly because of its simplicity and imperative form. "turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it." I don't know why it resonates with me but it does!

Jeremiah 29:11 "For i kow the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." I like this verse because it means that God always has a plan for you even when you are going through rough times.

Psalm 51:10-12 - "10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11 Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. 12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me."

These hit hard with me right now. I am praying that the Lord will do these exact things in my life.
